Appendix H – Governance & Institutional Development
This appendix documents the formation and evolution of formal structures such as the Ladies’ Golf Union and subsequent governing bodies. It includes constitutions, meetings, decisions, and organisational changes.
Its purpose is to reposition governance as coordination, not creation. The evidence demonstrates that institutions emerged to organise an already active system; challenging narratives that place governance at the beginning of women’s golf history.
