Appendix C – Clubs & Everyday Participation Structures
This appendix documents the local foundations of women’s golf: clubs, fixtures, competitions, and recurring play structures. It includes evidence of organised play, named participants, formats, and scheduling drawn largely from press coverage and club records.
Its purpose is to demonstrate that the system was built from the ground up through repeated, local participation. It shifts attention away from headline events to everyday play, showing that women’s golf was sustained through routine, embedded activity long before formal governance structures emerged.
